The text for this large painting is based on the an everyday question that gets asked of politicians and other public officials, who, when asked for a clarification on an issue, are apt to provide a baffling ‘answer’, which does nothing but confuse and obviscate.
The fractured areas are all dissected segments of the entire phrase at the top and bottom of the work. No other imagery has been included.
